It should be noted that the Paradise Club program credits all of the original songs (credited here to J. C. Johnson) to both J. C. Johnson and Fletcher Henderson. The London programs and the Original London Cast album credit only J. C. Johnson. We feel the latter is correct and the club program mis-credited the original songs. Fletcher Henderson, while he did write a few band instrumentals, (of which there are two in the show), was basically an arranger, as well as the conductor for the Paradise Club show. This is most likely why he received credit for 'music'. His two songs and his conducting were not part of the London production.
