Trivia & History

When compared to the mono recording, it is clear that diifferent takes were used for all, or almost all, of the tracks on this recording. The mono recording is the version that was originally issued by Columbia. The stereo version was not issued until March 1963, although it seems that the Schwann catalog did not list it until the June 1963 issue. The stereo and mono versions were both recorded on the same day.
