The limited engagement was scheduled to run until December 30th. Due to popular demand, it was extended until January 22nd, 2012.


While most of the Kennedy Center cast transferred, The roles of Régine (Solange La Fitte), Linda Lavin (Hattie Walker) and Terrence Currier (Theodore Whitman) did not.


Rehearsals began July 18, 2011.


Unlike some past productions of Follies, the Prologue was listed in the playbill song list.


It was announced on September 26, 2011 that the prior week (September 19-25) was the highest grossing week for any musical written by Sondheim.  The show took in $1,122,778.
