"Too Many Mornings" and "There Won't Be Trumpets" are on the original cast recording of this production but they seem not to have been in the production when it opened. It may be that they were cut during rehearsals or previews. They may have been added to the recording to make the total playing time longer in the absence of two numbers that were in the production but were not included on the recording: "There Is No Other Way" and the medley "Conversation Piece."
According to Steven Suskin's book Show Tunes: The Songs, Shows, and Careers of Broadway's Major Composers, the production closed at the Wyndham's in 1977, moved to Toronto for six weeks, then returned to London and re-opened at the Garrick. As far as we can tell, the Toronto production was separate, and the London run was not interrupted for six weeks.
