When seen late in the run, the production did not include "We're Gonna Be All Right," although it was listed in the playbill. In that spot was a duet version of "You're Gonna Love Tomorrow / Love Will See Us Through," sung by Larry Kert and Judy Kaye. We do not know whether this substitution was actually made in performance throughout the run.
When Kert appeared as a replacement in the Broadway production, "Something's Coming" substituted for "Could I Leave You?" but in this production Kert performed both songs.
George Rose, though primarily the narrator, performed "Buddy's Blues."
