Trivia & History

Late in the production's run, Alfred Cibelli (aka Renato Cibelli) played Jud in the scenes and songs and also in the ballet. He had done this earlier for some brief period's during the American national tour. When he did this in London, the role of Jess, which the performer who played Jud in the ballet usually also played in the many incarnations of the original production, was taken by another performer.
