Trivia & History

Transferred from an earlier run at the Bristol Old Vic, where it opened on June 1, 1954. There were some cast changes and some changes in text, but the London production was billed as "The Bristol Old Vic Production." The director, choreographer and set designer were the same, and most of the cast was the same.
